Consumer Reports Says Mazda Is the Best Overall Car Brand

Last year, Consumer Reports ranked the Mazda brand first on its annual reliability survey, and now, the publication is giving more praise to the small Japanese company. Mazda topped CR’s 2021 list of best overall auto brands, with BMW, Subaru, Porsche, and Honda rounding out the top five. On this list, brands are scored on a combination of CR’s own road testing, owner satisfaction, predicted reliability, and safety. Remarkably, CR recommends all seven of the Mazda models it has tested, and we get it. Mazda cars offer a unique blend of driving fun, high quality, reliability, and style all at a reasonable price.
